I think I have a High needs baby?

My seven-month-old is exactly the opposite...so easy! However, I helped raise my little brother (now 12) and he was the WORST baby. Everything you describe and then some. I was 16 when he was born and my mom worked nights. He wouldn't sleep unless you walked and bounced him. If you put him down, stopped walking, stopped bouncing, he would wake up and cry. He also had trouble potty training and nursed really long (maybe because he was my mom's last baby of six). However, after growing out of that toddler phase, he has been the SWEETEST kid. Most sixth grade boys are horrible to be around, but he's so sweet, loving, helpful, polite, silly and fun. Don't worry...having a tough baby is just earning you good child and teenager karma! I'm worried the opposite will be true with my daughter, LOL.

ok im going to give u a little history....im a 22 year old female after having 2 csectionsi had my appendix removed by emergency surgery 2 days later they had to remove my gallbladder due to it no longer functioning because someone forgot to tell the surgeon that i had multiple smaller stones n my gallbladder,so all the pain meds and me going under surgery mad my gallbladder no longer function so they took that out 2 days after my appendix removal...1 month later im still havig really bad pain like under my kinda located by the pancreas area...i go in and nothing shows up in the ct scan or mri or blood work 3 months goes by with me going to see a specialist and numerous er visits and finally my dr told me just go to the er and i will peform an emergency ercp and they did they found a small stone.. 1 1/2yrs later started haven pain again and they say my bile ducts are dialated to 1.1cm and previously like 6 months ago they were constantly telling me my bile ducts were dialting but that wouldnt cause any pain and there is nothing wrong with them dialating..they never went over 12mm now they are 1.1cm....what the heck is goin on with me does anyone know?? please help i have 2 little ones and a husband that im trying to get better for and it just keep coming back

In my league we were only allowed to pitch 3 innings max and I threw 3 no hitters( 2 in consecutive games) so basically a full no hitter. I threw on average 70 mph and maxed out at about 80 mph. I also had 33 strikeouts and just 4 walks and was 5 and 0. I also maintained a batting average of more than .300. I am also a switch hitter and am a strong hitter from each side. What could be going on with my toddlers potty training success?

My son turned three March 27, and for several months I have been potty training him we started off with him stark naked, then moved to training underwear, then to pullups. He did great at first but now for no apparent reason has begun to soil himself. I feel like breaking in tears as he won't communicate with me what he wants. Some children communicate that they want to wear their pullups, some underwear he don't communicate with me at all. It seems like he doesn't pee/poop only when he gets to run around naked but when he is clothed he doesn't care if he goes in his underwear or pullups. I can tell he is frustrated with potty training right now, and wonder if I am at fault like maybe I pushed him too hard. What could be going on? Should I back off and let him go it alone or keep encouraging (which leads to a power struggle)?

Baby acne?

My daughter is almost five months old and ever since she was born she's had baby acne. Just a few little zits that go away and new ones spring up elsewhere. It's not because she's unclean (she's bathed every other day) and it's not because she's washed too much and her skin is getting irritated (I've tried spreading out the baths and also giving her one everyday to see if it would help), but they just won't go away! you need to continue to work with your avian vet on her health issues and change of diet. only yur avian vet can tell you if she is well again. i may suggest to finda new vet because a change in fecal matter is not just a liver problem. their fecal matter changes when they are ill, stressed and have a change of diet....i have had plenty of experience with this and i doubt it's a liver problem. better get onto changing her diet to pellet food soon. i have 5 birds and they are all 50/50 seed/pellet i am working on getting them into a full pellet diet. they will live a lot longer, have better nutrition and all of that good stuff. plus it will be cheaper to buy just pellet foods. this is something you should be asking your vet so give them a call monday.

Vegans don't drink milk...why?

Ok I can understand vegans being against cheese (rennet), but why milk? The arguments I have heard are: no species naturally drinks the milk of another species (which is SO true and I completely agree that drinking milk is unnatural), and that dairy cows are kept in a perpetual state of pregnancy and are treated inhumanely. I live next to a dairy farm and their dairy cows graze outside my window. They are the happiest cows ever. They get to eat and relax all day and the neighborhood kids go over and pet them and feed them. These cows love being around people and they will run over to the fence and rub up against you when you come over. I have never seen any sort of misconduct against these cows, and they nurture and care for their babies on their own. The people who own them are also sure to not over-milk them so they can still feed the baby cows. My vegan neighbor one day said that those people are sick for keeping cows like that. How is any of that animal cruelty?

Needing insight on Utah Visitation Laws?

We are getting ready to pick up the kids, today, from their mother for extended visitation (4 weeks) We have followed all the guidelines thus far and provided the 30 days advance notice to the mother and the court. Yesterday she sent an email saying that she would not let them come if we don't give her the name address and phone number to the childcare provider, because she is going to pick them up early from the babysitter on her visitation days during our time. Also, she says that she will not send ANY clothes for the kids because things have been left at our house and she is sick of it. There was a mistake in ORS papers and HR at work and over the last 7 months, he has brought home $0 on every paycheck and we are still fighting to get it fixed..... So my questions are; do we have to give her the daycare information during our uninterrupted time (daycare already has her info in case on an emergency) ? Is she allowed to pick them up early (she is supposed to follow the same guidelines we follow when she has them and she wont allow us to pick them up early)? The Humane Society in the area that I live suggests to have a squirt bottle of water handy to correct bad behavior. I know, I know, snooping is bad. I shouldn't have done it, but I did. And low and behold, I found something uncomfortable. I managed to get into my boyfriends email only to see that he was conversating with another male in a ual manner and asking about when and where they should meet. Naturally, this is pretty heartbreaking because it's never fun to find out these things, even if you shouldn't know in the first place. This is the first year i tried to grow Carolina cross watermelons. To make it short and sweet, i got the seeds from burpee and planted them in a small green house. Out of 25 seeds 1 survived. Hi I am a 23 year old female. I am a worrier and I think I might have an issue with anxiety and panic. I was feeling fine about a week ago when a co worker was talking to me about a guy he knows who has a blood clot in his head and that he could die any day. After my co worker told me this while I was at work I had a full blown panic attack thinking that I might have a blood clot in my brain. So I went home early and went to urgent care. I broke down in tears in front of the doctor and he calmed me down ran some basic balance and coordination tests and said he didnt think there was any need to do any further tests. He explained to me how blood clots and anneurysms work and that if I had one I would probably being showing signs of it. So its been about a week and he prescibed me Xanax for anxiety. I am still having this funny head ache type of feeling only on my left side and it comes and goes. I went to the dentist today and he says my bite is off and can be cuasing the head aches but he wasnt very reasuring. Then Im wondering could I just be making up my pain becuase I have anxiety? I realy am having some head ache pain I just am scared. I still think the first doctor could be wrong. I feel so embarrased for being this scared. I just found out I'm pregnant but...?

How ofter do you have to clean a tarantula's tank?

Do not change the cage too often cause they get used to thier surroundings and it can be stressful if you change it too much. Do the spot cleanings like suggested above. Also let the substrate dry out completely every week or 2 to make sure not to let any thing breed in it. This reduces your chances of getting things like mites. 6 months to 1 year is my suggestion for cleaning it entirely as long as you keep it spot cleaned.

This is a tough one. On one hand, he's the father of your child. On the other hand, he's irresponsible. I would say procede w/ caution. He has a right to see the baby, but you can always limit the scope of his visits (ie he can visit the baby when your family is around. p.s. they sound really cool). Trust your instincts. The dog would be better off at a shelter where the owners could find it rather than in a back yard of well meaning people. The shelter will also be able to re-home the puppy if the owners don't clam it. I have worked in a shelter and the puppies are adopted fast.

when you tell them about other people that have been emotionally abusive to you unprovoked and why it is not good for you to be around those persons and they seem to stay on these peoples' sides? Like, they will say those persons have done nothing wrong but it is 'you' that has turned against you and not anybody else. Nobody has done anything to me..?? That sounds nuts right? They are trying to convince you that you are at fault essentially. Or, you tell them that such a person called you an idiot when you made a mistake and missed a bus. They just said 'idiot' when you called them on the phone in a very harsh tone that offended you..and then instead of saying 'yeah, they should not have spoken to you like that' they say 'yeah well you were an idiot'..They take the other persons side and don't care about my feelings.

You are right about the ultrasound @ 8 weeks...I had an ultrasound @ 5w 6d & I could see my baby's heartbeat (and hear it) then too, so you should definitely be able to see it if they did an ultrasound on you now!! I don't know what kind of doctors you have, but they don't sound too smart! Maybe you should check out another hospital/doctor or @ least get a 2nd opinion for the time being!! If you can add some protein in you dinner which is good, i mean real meat, because your diet is not bad, but i dont see any real meat in , you just have few ham in your lunch. Try to add some hard boil eggs or chicken in breakfast and dinner. an boil egg is about 70 cals only, 3oz chicken is about 120 cals (skinless).

I don't think it is enough to 'only' have a belief that Jesus died for you. As a Christian, I cannot commit aimless amounts of sinful acts, live a life oposite to what God desired for me, and then expect that I am being escorted to heaven based on one belief. However, there is not one person since time, (except Jesus himself), that has not comitted sin. This is what he died for. However, we can be forgiven for our sins by repenting and turning from our evil ways. In addition, you have to remember the differences between the new and old testament in order to better understand some of your references. It is extremely important that we live our life according to Gods purpose, repent from sin, and have a relationship with Jesus by obedience, worship, and love.

Help with my suicidal depressed ex girlfriend?

I really could use some help. Im 22. I had been with my ex for 3 1/2 years. The whole relationship was typical for a teenage relationship. Good at first and horrible towards the middle and end. I never broke up with her or even asked for a break as I felt deeply in love with her. She broke up with me countless times and even got a new boyfriend for about 4 months. I had no trust in her but simply couldnt leave her. About a month ago I finally got the courage to break up with her because of her marijuana habit and the way she was acting. I did it more so to deliver some sort of wake up call, to show some backbone. My intentions were for her to change her ways and for us to get back together. However, about 2 weeks later I met a girl and though its only been a short time I really care for her and know for certain she is better for me. She makes me realize what its like to be with a good person you can trust. We have now been together for 2 months but as of late my ex calls me every 10 minutes crying and sobbing, saying she is depressed and doesnt want to live anymore and needs me and has nothing going on in her life. She is extremely in need of counseling and is crying/miserable on a 24/7 basis, claiming her life is horrible and she "is going crazy". She is literally begging me. I love her but know I need to let it go and stick with the girl I am now with, and even if it doesnt work, I know my ex simply is not the one. What can I/should I do to alleviate this situation. I feel like I cant say things that will hurt my ex for fear of making it worse on her but I am in essence providing false hope. Any ideas? I could really use the help. Please help me.

Achiness as a result of exam or impending labor? I am 39 weeks...?

I had a doctor visit yesterday, and discovered that I am 1 cm dilated. I have been having some achiness in my pelvic area and back on and off for a couple of weeks now, but it has been constant since last night...this has not happened with my previous exams, so I was just wondering if it could be a sign that labor is on the way soon. Got 2 new big game rifles, now i need a scope.?

Nikon 3x9x40 with BDC is your best for the money......if you can afford more get a higher power like 6x18x40 or bigger lens like a 50mm. A leupold scope is a step up but,nikons are dam close....I use mostly Leupolds and my scopes cost way too much......but,I like a good Nikon. Both have lifetime warranty so you can't beat that when your 80 you can send it in for repair or replacement...Don't get any of that cheap crap for nice rifles if you are a real hunter.....

A question re: long kilts

I have a neighbour from Scotland, so I am remembering a few things she told me: Formal kilts are often longer length, mid shin. Informal kilts are shorter; around knee length and dance kilts above the knee. Belts are commonly worn with kilts, but they usually don't have belt loops, they are merely cinched over the kilt. She says that you can probably take in a little at the waist if you or someone you know is handy with a needle and thread, or just wear your belt a little tight and don't worry if there are a few little puckers. She also said that safety pins, a modern invention to be sure, are quite common at clan gatherings and the highland games to keep wayward kilts in place and to keep formal wrap kilts from flapping around in a wayward breeze and exposing things that shouldn't be exposed. If it is a wrap style, wrap it a bit tighter and use safety pins to pin it in place. Otherwise, use a slightly tight belt. And be sure to have fun and try the Haggis. Or not!

Practice practice practice. The track stand is just a balance trick. I've seen people practice with one hand on the top of the front wheel. The braking, locking the rear wheel thing, you have to learn to jump the bike. When you ride you should have the toe straps tightened, and then you have to stand up and pull up with the legs and arms in one motion so the rear wheel comes off the ground then lock the legs so when it lands the rear wheel skids to a stop. Sounds crazy but it works. On a road bike I can jump the bike over a hole maybe 12 inches wide. It's easier when you can coast and prepare. I've seen guys jump sideways up a curb. Crazy. The drive line has to be straight. Check it with a straight edge. Also it will be loud if the chain is worn out. Change the chain every 700 to 1000 miles based upon how hard you ride and if you clean and lube it (or not). When I put a new chain on my bike, it sounds like it's brand new, and shifts like it too. I ride about 4000 miles a year, so I go through 4 or 5 chains a year. It's a huge difference.Have fun!
