What should I expect the day of my C-section?

I had a saddle block so I could stay awake during my c-section. I had a complete previa. I had no pain and was wide awake. I experienced pressure and tugging. I did not watch him being born but heard his first cry and and they showed him to me immediatly. They cleaned him up and put him in my arms. My husband held one hand while a good friend held the other.(he was my nurse anesthatist) I slept on and off that day and the next. Took pain medication for a few days, fed for 6 weeks and went back to work at 8 weeks. He is the ligtht of my life and SOOOO worth staying awake for.
