Elective caesarian...what to expect?

hi im 34 weeks on wednesday and my baby is still breech and has been all the way through! usually its nothing to worry about to much at this time i no but as he's been in this possition for so long my midwife is talking about an elective caesarian! its my 1st baby and im gettin pretty nervous now.do you get labour pains and contractions after the opp? whats the recovery period like etc? whats it feel like? general worries really lol...be nice please!
