Is it possible to put a V8 5.7L in a 1995 firebird that has the 3.4L V6?

I was wondering if i could put the V8 5.7 in my firebird which currently has the 3.4L V6. I wasnt sure if the car i have can even have the V8 or not. Its a coupe, not a trans am, i dont know a whole lot about cars but i can answer any questions you have about it.
