8 weeks pregnant, and freaked out!?

You are right about the ultrasound @ 8 weeks...I had an ultrasound @ 5w 6d & I could see my baby's heartbeat (and hear it) then too, so you should definitely be able to see it if they did an ultrasound on you now!! I don't know what kind of doctors you have, but they don't sound too smart! Maybe you should check out another hospital/doctor or @ least get a 2nd opinion for the time being!! I hope whatever is wrong (if anything) gets figured out soon! Good luck to you!
