Really depressing thoughts..please help :((?

my mom had told me about this case she saw on the ASPCA site where this 17 year old ex girlfriend of some guy broke into his place, terrorized his house.... and put his kitten in the oven and turned the oven on :(( it's really sad and it makes me really depressed since i have 3 cats.. and just imagining how it felt for the poor cat... it makes me so sad... i've been depressed for a long time today... please help make me happy or something what will make me happy and not so depressed?
